Rides & Events

This is a great opportunity to ride in a friendly atmosphere and meet new friends!  All of our women’s only rides are no drop and the pace will be determined by the group. During the summer we will hold monthly recreational rides on Wednesday evenings (all types of bikes welcome) and road rides on Sunday mornings (road bikes only please).  We will meet in front of the shop 15 minutes before the ride start time.  All rides will leave from Newington Bicycle unless otherwise noted!

  • bicycle
  • helmet (required)
  • closed toe shoes
  • water and nutrition
  • personal ID
  • sunglasses
  • flat repair kit
  • money for the snacks/coffee (Sunday am)

If it’s been a while since your last ride, or if you have any questions about the state of your bike, we strongly suggest you bring your bike to our service department for a free safety check prior to the day of the ride.  We also highly recommend our Service & Safety Clinic (April 12, 2016) before the season to brush up on group riding ettiquette and how to change a flat tire!
